St. Luke’s has several committees that assist with specific ministry and administrative areas of the Church.

Things to know about committees

Individuals typically serve for three years (term limit is three years max on the same committee)

Most committees meet at least once a quarter many meet monthly.

Completing an interest form does not commit anyone to service, it is simply expressing an interest or recommendation. The Lay Leadership team will take these names into consideration as they make recommendations to the Church.

Short synopsis of committees:

Lay Leadership Team: provides leadership in recommending committee members to the Church

Staff Parish Relations Team: assists with matters relating to St. Luke’s employees

Board of Trustees: oversee church property and make decisions about the physical plant

Finance Team: assists in handling the finances, annual budget, financial policies and annual audit

Evangelism Team: plan and carry out events that reach out to the community (Block Party)

Endowment Team: plan ways to promote giving to the church through planned giving

Missions Team: provides leadership development, promotion and support of mission opportunities

Preschool/PDO/After School Care Team: assists with providing quality Christian care for our small children

Administrative Council: plans and make corporate decisions of the church

Hospitality Team: plan and carry out events that create a welcoming atmosphere in the church
